Maruti Zen Estilo

The old and historic Maruti Zen is now replaced by a tall and reorganized Maruti Zen Estilo. The design of the car is similar to the design of the Japanese MR Wagon. Though the name of Zen is being used with it, the car isn’t having anything common with the Zen. Zen Estilo is the most talked about car in the market which has been released ever since the release of Maruti Swift.

Design and Style

Maruti Zen Estilo has been designed taking the car away from traditional designing. The looks of the car are contended and the look is lovable. The car comes with a cab-forward design that is superb in proportions and a fresh air can be taken in by its use. The car is modern and classic in its look which gets a number of people attracted to it. With the changes that have been brought to the front of the car and the accessories, the looks have been really improved. The large front bumper, front air intake, large grille and the new headlamps give it an aggressive look.

Interior

Interior of the car has been left untouched and the only difference notable is that the two-tone dash has been introduced instead of the old interiors. Also, the Maruti has changed some of the parts that are not so good in quality to achieve the target of providing a low cost vehicle. The interior is provided with a few surprises such as the airbags, electric mirrors, auto-down function for the window on the driver seat and a light in the cabin that stays on till the key is inserted in to it. Most of these features are expected from costly cars only.

Engine

The new model of the Maruti Estilo comes with a 998 CC engine from the K-series. It is a step forward compared to the older motors which allows revving up the vehicle and the driver just loves it. However it is a bit irritating as the car might stall while picking up the clutch in first gear, this can be countered by providing more throttle. The engine is strong, smooth and eager to perform. The car takes about 15.8 seconds to pick up the speed of 100 KPH. The three cylinders outlet makes the car vibrate but only when it is idle. Also, the gear shift has been improved.

Ride and Handling

The stiff suspension of the Maruti Estilo makes it a more solid car for driving. The car is stable however, it might unsettle on bumpy roads. The rutted surfaces are properly dealt with in the city areas easily. The steering is not so good and absolutely gives no feedback but is fine for usage with the tires that have been put on the car.
